Jugendarrestanstalt in Berlin Lichtenrade# Jugendliche hinter einem vergitterten Fenster in der Jugendarrestanstalt in der Lützowstraße 45 in Berlin Lichtenrade, fotografiert am 29.6.2007 beim Tag der Offenen Tür. Die Einrichtung ist der einzige Jugendarrest Berlins. Die straffällig gewordenen Jugendlichen stehen hier zwischen zwei Tagen und vier Wochen unter Arrest, verstanden als Erziehungsmaßnahme, nicht als Strafe. Dafür stehen 46 Plätze in zwei Gebäuden zur Verfügung. Nur vier Betten sind für weibliche Straftäterinnen reserviert. Rund 1300 Jugendliche durchlaufen den Arrest in Lichtenrade jedes Jahr. Körperverletzung und Eigentumsdelikte sind die häufigsten Delikte, wegen derer ein Jugendlicher nach Lichtenrade geschickt wird.
