巴基斯坦

巴基斯坦位于南亚,人口1.97亿,95%以上的居民信奉伊斯兰教。面积79.6万平方公里(不包括巴控克什米尔地区),东与印度比邻,南面是印度洋,西与伊朗锡斯坦接壤,西北和阿富汗相连,东北面可通往中国新疆。

ARCHIV - Eine unbemanntes Aufklärungsflugzeug vom Typ Heron 1, aufgenommen bei einem Testflug (undatiertes Archivfoto). Bundeswehrsoldaten werden nach Informationen der «Financial Times Deutschland» (Freitagsausgabe 29.01.2010) erstmals in Israel für einen Auslandseinsatz ausgebildet. Derzeit trainierten deutsche Piloten in sechswöchigen Lehrgängen den Umgang mit der Drohne Heron 1, die ab März in Afghanistan eingesetzt werden soll, berichtet die Zeitung. Unter Anleitung der israelischen Luftwaffe und dem Flugzeugbauer Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) lernten die Soldaten, die Aufklärungskapazitäten der unbemannten Flugzeuge zu nutzen. Sprecher des israelischen und des Bundesverteidigungsministeriums hätten dies bestätigt. Die pakistanische Mittelstreckenrakete HATF-IV (Shaheen-I) wird am 08.12.2004 an einem unbekannten Ort getestet. Die beiden Atommächte Indien und Pakistan wollen sich künftig über geplante Raketentests vorab informieren. Zudem soll im September eine direkte Telefonverbindung zwischen den Außenministerien beider Länder eingerichtet werden, um das Risiko eines versehentlichen oder ungenehmigten Einsatzes von Atomwaffen zu vermindern.
