超級大都市裡的50度綠
國際大都市不缺人,卻常常缺綠地。如果商業大都會能在中央地帶擁有公園和綠地,會帶來哪些益處?
渴望更多的公園
據聯合國的估算,到2050年全球將有三分之二的人口都居住在城市地帶。不過生活在城市裡同時又能享受到自然的居民數量卻是有限的。土耳其伊斯坦堡是全世界綠地覆蓋面積最少的城市之一,2015年,公園、綠地面積僅佔該城市面積的2.2%。伊斯坦堡地方政府正計劃將一些公共空間改變成城市公園。
中國「綠城」
世界城市文化論壇上公佈的數據顯示,城市之間在城市規劃的問題上差異很大。儘管製造業雲集、高樓林立,但中國深圳的綠化面積達到40%。北京的綠化面積超過45%,而且仍在計劃繼續增加綠地面積。
「綠城」生活好處多多
城市中的公園數量多就會鼓舞更多的人參與體育鍛煉。欣賞自然美景、傾聽自然的聲音都有利於身心健康,而且有助於減緩壓力,提高生活品質……儘管曾經被稱作是一座鋼筋水泥建造的城市,但紐約的綠地面積仍達到四分之一。很多舊的工業區被改造成城市花園供市民休閒享樂。
清潔空氣
植物具有清潔空氣的功能,所以城市綠地也可以有效地淨化我們的空氣。2015年東京城市管理局公佈的數據顯示,東京的綠地面積僅為7.5%。在920萬城市人口中很多人是老年人,空氣污染對他們來說尤其危險。
降低溫度
城市會形成熱島效應,在熱浪來襲的時候更是明顯。但是公園、綠地能很大程度上消解熱島效應。洛杉磯是個人口稠密的城市,熱島效應十分顯著,如果這個城市的綠地面積能從35%提升到更高,可能就可以更好的降低城市的溫度。
抵禦洪水
綠地還可以一定程度上防止2018年巴黎洪災這樣的災害重演。只有9.5%綠地面積的巴黎現在正考慮到2020年新栽種2萬棵樹,因為綠地已經成為城市治理洪水體系中的重要一部分。
規劃未來
人口超過1000萬的新興大都市多數都位於南半球。比如哥倫比亞首都波哥大。這座城市現在只有4.9%的綠地面積。在城市擴張且變得越來越富庶的同時,城市的管理者需要學會在短期經濟增長和居民長期健康以及應對氣候變化影響之間尋找到平衡點。
