據路透社報導,中國研究人員懷疑是否只通過禽類才感染新型的禽流感H7N9。國家疾病預防監控中心流行病學首席科學家曾光在周三(4月17日)一期的《新京報》上表示,只有大約40%的患者同禽類有過直接接觸,其他患者是如何被傳染的,還是一個謎。據中國衞生部通報,至周三早晨止,共有77人患H7N9禽流感,其中16人死亡。世界衞生組織駐北京的代表上周曾明確表示,迄今沒有跡象顯示,H7N9具人際傳染特徵。該組織日前宣佈,將向中國派遣一個專家小組,幫助研究相關病毒。
