柏林天主教區大主教維克(Kardinal Woelki)警告,德國社會的貧富差距距離越來越大。他在接受德媒採訪時表示,在柏林,每三個15歲以下的兒童中就有一個依靠領取德國社會救濟金"哈茨四號"(Hartz-IV)生活。這位大主教呼籲,教會應該重視這個問題,並多從事救濟貧窮的工作,信徒應該積極參與政治討論,並在議會中提出有關立場。
