未來的食物長什麼樣?
食用塑料、海藻肉、3D列印蘑菇面團。正在柏林舉行的「食品革命5.0」展覽,為我們呈現了一個充滿未來感的食品新時代。
生物塑料
這件由Johanna Schmeer製作的展品,是一塊加入了活性酶的生物塑料,能夠在光照下產生營養物質。在柏林舉行的「食品革命5.0」展覽,總共邀請了30餘名設計師參展。展覽將持續到9月底,向大家呈現未來的食品形態。參展者也指出,食品消費者的決定其實也是一個重要的政治議題。
海藻肉
如今,畜牧養殖業產生的溫室氣體,甚至高於汽車的排放。來自科威特的Hanan Alkouh則創造了一種由海藻製作的肉類替代品。其實,海藻本身就是一種「超級食品」;而為了讓傳統的養殖戶、屠戶的手藝不至於失傳,設計師特意將海藻食品設計成了肉塊形狀。
取代石油
義大利設計師Maurizio Montalti的這件作品,可不是為了取代什麼傳統食物,而是志在取代石油。這套裝置中,一種真菌負責降解塑料,另一種真菌則負責將其進一步轉化為生物乙醇。切碎的舊塑料玩具,在這套裝置中實現了資源再利用。
三分之一
根據聯合國的一項調研,全球1/3的食物被浪費,與此同時,全球有9.25億的人受到飢餓的威脅。攝影師Klaus Pichler受到啟發,其展品就以「三分之一」為名。這組靜物攝影,將鏡頭對准了腐爛的草莓等物,引發公眾對過度消費的關注。
黃粉蟲變身「兔子」
歐洲人原本並不喜歡食用昆蟲。現在,藝術家Carolin Schulze運用3D列印機,將黃粉蟲烹製成了兔子形狀。不知這樣的「藝術加工」能否讓歐洲人從此愛上吃蟲子?
3D列印蘑菇
設計師Chloe Rutzerveld的作品,則是用3D列印機製造一個「面團」載體,從而讓菌類能夠生長成所需的形狀。設計師表示,這是一種「高科技、但是完全自然、健康、可持續的食物」
擁有餐桌就能請客
這套移動廚房是一個社區項目。12名陌生人需要共處一個半小時,共同享用一頓三道菜的大餐。設計師Ania Rosinke說:「我們當時想要搞一個項目,讓我們能夠結識他人。最終結果就是我們需要一張大桌子,以及食物。」
雞的虛擬現實
美國藝術家Austin Stewart設計了一套專門給雞使用的虛擬現實裝置(VR)。藝術家想知道,如果擁擠的工業化養殖場能夠運用虛擬現實設備為禽畜模擬一種快樂、自由的生活環境,究竟會產生怎樣的後果。
食物
Henk Wildschut的系列照片「食物」讓人能夠一窺食物生產的內部真相。這張照片中,小豬們終其一生只能生活在狹小的空間內,而其最終的命運則是遭到屠宰,然後被肢解運送到全球各地的商店。
