中國稱西方"煽動"敘利亞內戰

中國黨報《人民日報》周一（2月20日）發表一篇社論，抨擊西方在敘利亞"煽動"內戰。社論稱，西方國家支持敘利亞反對派要求阿薩德總統辭職有可能導致"大規模內戰"，從而使外國武裝干預成為必要。中國曾同俄羅斯一起在聯合國安理會使用否決權，阻止通過關於敘利亞問題的決議。該決議支持阿拉伯聯盟的和平計劃，並要求阿薩德放棄權力。中俄兩國還對聯合國大會的敘利亞問題決議投了反對票，在國際上引起廣泛批評。西方迄今拒絕仿照利比亞衝突的做法，在敘利亞進行軍事幹預。阿盟方面則發出訊號稱，某些成員國願意參與這樣的干預。
