綜合通訊社消息,埃及總統選舉周六進入第二輪投票。選民在投票站外排起了長龍。由於人多,投票站不得不延長開放時間。截至目前,沒有發生重大衝突。出於安全考慮,埃及軍方出動40萬士兵負責維穩。除穆斯林兄弟會推舉的候選人穆爾希之外,穆巴拉克倒台前任命的總理沙菲克也是角逐埃及總統的兩名候選人之一。德國外長韋斯特韋勒稱,此次選舉是埃及向民主邁進的重要一步,並呼籲埃及人民和平的進行投票。
