WorldLink: Jewish life in Tunisia's Djerba

Across North Africa, crumbling cemeteries and synagogues bear testament of a once-vibrant Jewish population that has all but disappeared. Many of them emigrated to Israel and Europe over the past half century. The Jewish population in Tunisia once numbered about 100,000 and now is only a couple of thousand. But one small Jewish community in the southern island of Djerba is bucking that trend.
