Bombs on Berlin's doorstep

More bombs were dropped on Berlin by Allied air forces in the final months of WWII than any other city in Germany. The raids killed tens of thousands of people and hundreds of thousands were left homeless. But the slow and arduous process of clearing the city continues even today, as Tamsin Walker discovered.
