Singapore has released wearable tokens to boost coronavirus tracing among people who don't own smartphones. Even in a place as plugged-in and wealthy as Singapore, that's a fair number of people — mostly the elderly and migrant workers. And since migrant workers have had the majority of COVID-19 cases there, it's hoped the devices will help them get back to normal — and back to work.
