Some pastors of South Africa's so called "Free" or Evangelical Churches are infamous for their preposterous promises of salvation. They claim they can make disabled people walk again and promise female church members that - if they pray and pay enough - they will meet the man of their dreams. Some pastors even make their flock drink dangerous substances, such as rat poison or liquid cleaner.
