World in Progress: Refugees flee bloodshed in CAR

The town of Bria in the Central African Republic has become a ghost town. Almost all its residents fled after sectarian violence between various militias erupted there in May. Across the entire country, armed factions are fighting over resources, religion, land and power. About one million people have been displaced and the UN is warning of an impending, large-scale humanitarian crisis.
