Racism in German school books

Teaching materials used in schools are generally seen as objective and factual. But Elina Marmer has been researching how the African continent is being portrayed in teaching materials used in German schools. And she is convinced that most school books provide an out-dated and often even racist view of Africa, its people and cultures.
