According to a recent study, over 1.5 million children work in cocoa production in Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana. Cocoa farmers say they need the children because they don't make enough to employ farmhands. Now the falling prices of cocoa and the COVID-19 pandemic has hit them on top of everything else.
