World in Progress: Imports destroy Ghana's poultry market

In Ghana foreign trade policies, including EU exports, have destroyed the local poultry industry. Within a few decades, imported chicken parts have become cheaper than locally produced chickens on the markets around the country, with grave consequences for local farmers.
