World in Progress: Drugs in Punjab

Health experts in India's northern state of Punjab are worried about the high incidence of drug consumption there. The number of addicts in Punjab is four times the global average. The authorities are struggling to stop the flow of drugs from neighboring Pakistan, Most of the addicts are young men, and the number of rehab centers is increasing.
