World in Progress: Vaccine drive in Congo

Government and UN agencies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are in a race against time to persuade as many people as possible to accept vaccines. Some 1.7m vaccines were shipped to Congo as part of the COVAX scheme in March but there are long delays in the rollout due to logistical complications and fears that the AstraZeneca jab is not safe.
