This week’s Auschwitz commemorations were not just limited to Poland – across the border in the Czech Republic, there was a ceremony at Terezin, site of the former Theresienstadt concentration camp, and a two-day conference in Prague on the threat of rising anti-Semitism – which is developing into a truly pan-European problem.
