Many countries struggle with their policies regarding the Roma, the biggest and poorest minority in Europe. Most who migrate to western European countries come from the Balkans. Living conditions are harsh, Roma are mostly segregated and many live below the poverty line. In Macedonia, however, Roma seem to be represented more.
