WFP chief: Situation in Afghanistan 'horrific'

Afghanistan is in the grip of a humanitarian crisis. "The number of people that are knocking on starvation's door is 23 million people out of 40 million people," the executive director for the UN's World Food Programme, David Beasley, told DW.
