Westerwelle met his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov ahead of the Munich Security Conference

German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle is calling on the Iranian government to make definite suggestions for solving the dispute over its nuclear program. A representative from Tehran is expected to attend the three-day Munich Security Conference that kicked off on Friday. Iran's nuclear program was also on the agenda for a meeting ahead of the conference between Westerwelle and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
