The singer Katie Melua was discovered five years ago by the successful British songwriter and producer Mike Batt, the man who in the 70s and 80s was responsible for diverse hits like all the Wombles songs and Art Garfunkel's "Bright Eyes". But since 2003 he's devoted himself to managing Katie Melua's career which has gone stratospheric. Her third album is selling millions like her previous two and right now she's here in Germany on her latest world tour.
