Turkish officials admit to meetings with jailed Kurdish rebel leader

Breaking a long-held taboo, Turkish leaders have confirmed for the first time that Ankara has been talking to Abdullah Ocalan in an effort to end a bloody conflict that has killed tens of thousand since 1984.
