Turkish-backed forces say they've taken control of Ras al-Ayn, a key border town in northeastern Syria. That's according to Turkey's Defense Ministry. It's the most significant gain since Turkey's offensive into the region began on Wednesday. Aid workers say more than 100 thousand people have been forced to flee the area.
