African champions Tunisia will find themselves thrown in with the lions in the Confederations Cup Group A this June. The African Cup of Nations winners face hosts Germany after dealing with Argentina in the opening game. Even a potential game for pride against the Australians in the final group match is no consolation.

But Tunisia should not be underestimated. Although ranked 36th in the world, Tunisia have reached the last two FIFA World Cups which is more than can be said for Australia.

However, the current qualifying campaign for Germany 2006 has not gone well and French coach Roger Lemerre, a man who has tasted international success with Les Bleus, will know that the two opening matches against Argentina and the hosts are going to be real tests. (nda)
