Travelogue – Sylt

Kiron KreuterFebruary 24, 2011

We visit the picturesque German island of Sylt located in the North Sea – one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. It offers 40 kilometers of beach and sand dunes. The Wadden Sea (Wattenmeer) is also a unique geographical area that includes huge mud flats and is rich in wildlife. In June of 2009 it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And the local seafood a real treat!
