Tipping the scales? The Black and the Hispanic Vote

Just a few days before the US presidential election on November 2nd, the race between Republican incumbent George W. Bush and Democratic candidate John Kerry is still neck-to-neck. A few million votes either way can decide on who will be the next US president, and because that is so, minorities can make a huge difference. John Kerry has been wooing black voters, traditionally inclined towards the Democrats but apparently shifting towards the Republicans, and both Kerry and Bush have courted Hispanic voters with Spanish radio and television ads.
