Thousands rally against Germany’s far-right AfD party

Thousands braved low temperatures in Berlin, to protest against the far-right Alternative for Germany party. The demonstrators called for the party, which is polling second in nationwide surveys, to be banned. People have been angered by the reports that AfD's senior members discussed mass deportation of German residents of foreign origin. The party denies that such plans are part of their policy.
