A rally in South Sulawesi's capital of Makassar turned violent when some students clashed with the police.

The protestors also demanded the resignation of Indonesian Vice President Boediono and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani for their roles in approving a bank bailout plan last year, which many say was full of irregularities.
