This year's prestigious Leipzig book prize goes to author Georg Klein and his 'Novel of Our Childhood'

The winner of this year's Leipzig Book prize has been announced. German author Georg Klein has won the prestigious award for his book "Novel of our Childhood". Combining fantasy and realism, the novel tells the story of a group of German schoolkids in the1960s. Also nomitated for this year's prize was Helene Hegemann, whose debut novel sparked heated debate.
