The Polish President Lech Kaczynski has died in a plane crash in Russia

The Polish president Lech Kaczyinski has been killed in a plane crash in western Russia, just before landing. The president was on a flight from Warsaw with his wife and a number of senior government officials and military leaders. The death toll of the crash has now been revised to 96 after earlier reports of more than 130 victims.
