It’s a crucial time of the year for the world’s beer lovers – the beginning of the hop season, when the first plants start poking their shoots through the soil in search of sunlight. Hops have been an integral part of brewing for millennia. One of the most prized hops in the world grows in a relatively small area of northwest Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Rob Cameron has more.
