The GfK market research institute says low inflation is stoking consumer spending

German executives are feeling more positive about their prospects - and now it seems consumers are too. Consumer confidence has risen for a second month in a row - the GfK survey is based on a poll of 2000 people, and the latest one rose again as falling prices boosted household purchasing power.
