Germany's election campaign has taken a twist after the conservative CDU-CSU bloc pushed through a motion in parliament tightening migration policy with the help of votes from the far right AfD.  It broke a taboo in German politics of not cooperating with the extreme right.  Also on The Day:  Trump follows through on his promise to clampdown on irregular immigration.
