A young girl living in the slum of Katwe in Kampala suddenly becomes popular after a missionary introduces her to the game of chess. Sounds like a plot straight from a Hollywood movie? Well, that’s exactly what Walt Disney thought of the story of Phiona Mutesi. "The Queen of Katwe," is a movie about the remarkable lives of Phiona and her chess coach Robert Katende.
