# The German government is warning that Islamist extremists could be planning an imminent terrorist attack in the country. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said that foreign and domestic intelligence services had ‘concrete’ indications of a planned attack by the end of November. Germany has raised its terror alert and is stepping up security at airports and train stations. The minister said there was cause for concern.
