With multinational firms are scrambling to verify the safety of their employees in Bombay, Lufthansa is one of several airlines cancelling flights to India's financial capital Thursday, as Westerners seem to have been amongst the main targets during the assaults. With an expected GDP growth rate of 8 percent, India has become a major hub for German and European investors.
