Gay marriage vote Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland's assembly backed gay marriage in a vote in Northern Ireland this week. But then the ruling Democratic Unionist Party scuppered the motion with a constitutional veto. It means that Northern Ireland remains the only part of the UK and Ireland where gay marriage is not legal. Patrick Corrigan from Amnesty International explains why the vote was a symbolic victory.
