Mercedes has now introduced the heavy-load version of its Actros line, the Actros SLT. It’s a big truck with equally big ambitions. Though there are many technical perks, the key to trucks in this weight class is the clutch.

The SLT sports a turbo retarder clutch, which makes itself felt during startup and braking. And Mercedes didn’t skimp on comfort either. The cab has well over two meters of headroom and an excellent layout.
