Europe's largest solar telescope, GREGOR, has just come on line on Tenerife. It promises to offer some of the most detailed images of solar flares yet. The Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics in Potsdam will help maintain the data pipeline from Tenerife and pass vital information to other institutes around the world.
