Russian investment in the West is soaring (15.08.2008) je 08

As German chancellor Angela Merkel meets with Russian President Dmitri Medwedew this morning, there is growing anxiety among western business leaders that Moscow is putting up barriers to foreign investment in the country. British oil company BP is the latest western firm to express frustration with Moscow after its CEO in a partnership deal was banned from working for two years. Russia investment in the West is soaring. But many western companies believe trade with Russia is a one-way road.
