Running for peace in Rwanda

Athletes often participate in a marathon for the sake of physical exercise. But in Rwanda's capital of Kigali, international athletes have another goal - peace. This year, the Kigali International Peace Marathon attracted more than 2,400 athletes from 22 different countries who all ran up Kigali's hills in an attempt to promote peace, remember the Rwandan Genocide and empower women.
