The 51-year-old has just extended his contract as Leverkusen sports director until 2017. As a player Völler scored more than 300 goals in his career for Offenbach, 1860 Munich, Bremen, Rome, Marseille, Leverkusen and Germany. But it seems he's finally found a home in Leverkusen. Völler tells us about his childhood in the town of Hanau and how he got his start in football. But he also discusses how the experience of playing abroad expanded his horizons.
