President George Bush's big convention speech

US President George W Bush has given one of the biggest speeches of his re-election campaign, at the end of the Republican Party convention. He defended his record, notably the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and set out his vision for the next four years. The president also launched a forthright attack on his Democratic opponent, John Kerry.
