Present it! Mercedes E 300 Bluetec- Hybrid

We take a look at the Mercedes E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID with 4-cylinder diesel engine, due to go on sale in Europe this summer. The diesel hybrid will be available as a sedan and a station wagon. The diesel engine boasts 150 kilowatts of power and 500 Nm of torque.

The electric motor adds another 20 kilowatts and 250 Nm. Thanks to its space-saving modular design, with lithium-ion battery, the diesel hybrid is as spacious as its non-hybrid counterparts. The price tag for the sedan in Germany: 51,800 euros, that's around 3500 euros more than the standard diesel E-Class with comparable fittings.
