Advent hasn’t even begun, yet Christmas lights are already brightening up many places and streets throughout Europe. We asked you to send in pictures showing how you gear up for the festive season.

Many of you took part and sent us a photo showing your favorite ways of getting ready for the holidays – whether baking Christmas cookies, paying a visit to Santa at the shopping center or eating Christmas cake on the beach.
