Pope Francis does it. So do Justin Bieber and Lance Armstrong. Tweeting, in fact, is now seen as pretty much indispensible by any modern celebrity worth his, or her, salt. But Twitter is not just chat. It also has its poets – and even its novelists. Our correspondent John Laurenson met some of them in the French city of Bordeaux at the International Festival of Twitterature.
