North Korea puts on a display of military might, a day after it tested a nuclear bomb

North Korea has test-fired two more missiles today, after conducting a nuclear test yesterday that provoked unanimous condemnation by the UN Security Council. The test caused an underground explosion on a scale comparable with the atom bomb dropped on Nagasaki in World War Two. A joint United Nations statement said it was a "clear violation" of a resolution passed after the communist state's first nuclear test in 2006.
