NATO leaders mark the sixtieth anniversary of the military alliance

NATO has been continuing the two day summit that marks the 60th anniversary of the military alliance. In a symbolic act, German Chancellor Angela Merkel led NATO leaders across a footbridge over the River Rhine that divides Germany and France, the two countries that are hosting the summit. Today's agenda also includes further talks on how best to tackle the problems facing Afghanistan.
